eLearning - iHASCO, BrightSafe and Courses 123

We have a number of training courses staff are required to complete prior to starting work with RCD. The courses are dependant on role, and delivered via eLearning or in person. eLearning is delivered via the following platforms (click on the title to go to the site)...

iHASCO – Several courses are provided on this platform, ladder safety, asbestos awareness refresher (2nd time of completion onward), HAVS, Abrasive Wheels and for some electrical safety. You will receive a sign up email for this site on employment and then separate invitations to the courses as and when required. This site records progress and completions, so you can dip in and out freely and your progress will be saved.

BrightSafe – This training system is provided by our HR system. You will do a number of courses on here, be aware it does not save progress / completions though, so you need to download the certificate at the end, or worst case scenario, take a screen shot of it, and send either the cert or the screenshot to info@rcd-yorkshire.co.uk. If you don’t do this there is no evidence it has been completed and you will have to do it again, so worth double checking before you close the page.
Click on the link, login and navigate to eLearning and select the course you require.

Courses123 – This site is used solely for the UKATA accredited Asbestos Awareness course. All site operatives complete this accredited course first, followed by the iHASCO equivalent as an annual refresher. It does retain progress / certificates so you can break this up and dip in and out if you prefer, rather than do the whole course in one go. You a link to this course, completion is required before you attend site, so you may be asked to complete it before you start work if possible. One of our clients requires annual refresher training with regard to Asbestos, so the refresher course is much shorter and completed on iHASCO.

HandSHQ – is where we store our training records, you may get training reminders periodically from this site but you won’t actually complete any training on it.

Other courses: Certain courses such as First aid, PASMA, IPAF are organised ad hoc as and when required.
